A few weeks ago I was a this flea market. There I came across this traveling cage I had really wanted to get . I had seen Getwozzys on here and it was something like it. Im sure the people must have gotten them in a auction [lot]. I asked how much and they said 25 a piece [I about fell over] and bought both. I wanted to take Tequila out when we got icecream [we decided to take Max too]. They loved the whole experience!! The attention from people ,the icecream and burger and a fry at the lake later. As we were driving to the lake we heard seagulls [Tequila yelled I hear them :D]

Great pictures! I'm glad you're getting some of your birds out and about in the new cages. Tequila and Max both look pretty excited:) Did Max get the whole bottom of an ice cream cone there lol? I bet that was all the positive reinforcement he needed to want to come out with you every time you leave the house again:D All I can think of seeing Tequila with that french fry is giving him a taste of junk food is like giving a grizzly bear a human arm. Healthy fruit and veg again? Nope, now he's gotten the taste for fried foods:eek:

I have to ask, is that by chance lake Champlain? If so, we now have photographic 'proof' of the "lake monster"- 2 [adorable] lake monsters in fact:52:

Great pics Terri! I didn't realize you took Max, too that day! That is great. I love seeing them both out enjoying the nice weather and good old junk food! Hee Hee! ;)

I so love those carriers. I may have to do a search on the net for those. :D

Kiwibird - Lake Champlain is between VT & NY. I actually live about 20 minutes from Lake Champlain. Terri is more on the western side of NY. That would have been more then a day trip! LOL!

Tequila came from an "awful" diet of just junk food from his previous owners. He has converted nicely to "My" diet. But Im sure his brain [remembers the good stuff] :) Max is your typical "foodie [will eat anything]. Im on Canandaigua lake here [one of the fingerlakes].

My Quincy loves French fries now and then, but that never has hindered him from eating the good stuff! ;)

I have family who lives WAY upstate (Dannemora and Saranac. Plattsburg is like a 15/20minute drive away, but the nearest place anyone has ever heard of lol). We have to fly into Burlington and cross Champlain on the ferry whenever we visit. I haven't been to anywhere else in NY (besides NYC) other than upstate and theres all those little townships and lakes everywhere. I was just guessing a bit:)

What the heck?!... Why does everyone else's birds LIKE healthy food. Is mine defective lol? If you give Kiwi something "bad" he will refuse his good food hoping there will be more junk on the way:20: It's why he gets his fresh produce first.

Is Max Kind of Dave's bird? He (Max) looks really pretty and healthy!

I live in Middlebury just 45 minutes south of Burlington. I've been to Saranac Lake! ;)

In my flock not everyone eats pellets [but I offer some anyways]. My birds eat "chop mix" I make every 3 days [everyone eats that ]. Max is Daves bird :D . He was the start of this bird madness :p.

Great photos! Looks like they had a good time! That's quite a deal for those travel cages!!! What a awesome find! I also love those carriers.
