I agree with Capt- different perch types and diameters will help A LOT! I also use the pedi-safe perches he referenced for all my birds. Chili has multiple perches in her cage and each one is a different type, but she sleeps on the pedi perch because it's the highest

What a cute photo lol! He's turning into quite the ham you could always call your vet and ask if she/he noticed the foot and what do they think. If it was overlooked by the vet exam, they shouldn't charge you to look at something overlooked. Hopefully it's just something old that's fading
