Tapatalk is a forum software add-on, functioning as such.

Perhaps you could explain for the members' edification in detail exactly what that means, and publish the agreement the forum accepted when it installed the software on the forum's hardware?

I did not elect to have my email address sent to a tapatalk database. The email I received did NOT come from this forum. Telling me that it was "completely elective" is offensive. This forum had no right to make "elections" as to the use of my email address.

Here's the thing. I've explained the situation, and you don't like my answer. Fair enough. You have the right to be wrong as much and for as long as you want. I will leave you to work it out for yourself here, as I have exhausted my ability to explain it any better.

Please contain your conversation about it to this thread so as not to disrupt the rest of the forum. If you really feel like there's no way you're wrong, then I will show you how to scramble your password and email address so that you never hear from us, via tapatalk or otherwise, again.
