talking phases

We rescued 10 yr blue front amazon 7 weeks ago. I think he is happy. His life has improved a ton!! He lived in a very sad enviroment before. When we first brought him home he talked quite a bit, but now sometimes he will go days without talking. Since we have gotten him he is on a good meal plan, gets a new toy every couple weeks, gets baths and a TON of attention. His lack of talking tho is starting to make me question if we are doin something wrong...Is he still just not used to us yet?? Its not the reason we got him and not a huge issue just curious...

He is settle in and before hes talking maby was the only company. Now prenty of attention so now he is enjoy and study the new family. In time he will talk even more so just keep on and wait

Dont worry, once he has settled in properly and is used to you fully, you will probably find he will start talking.

They tend to listen to everything you say and then one day, just out of the blue they totally surprise you by coming out with different words.
