Swollen tips of toes on my lovebird

I was playing with my love bird when I noticed the tip of his long toe (like the very last segment) looked puffy and slightly pinkish. (almost like the individual little berries in a raspberry, that is not red). Only on one of his toes.
He is eating and playing normal. There has been no change in his behavior. What is it?

Do you have other birds?
If so maybe one of them is nipping at your lovebirds toes.
