Sorry didn't mean to scare anyone, but it scared me too. A friend of mine posted it on my Facebook wall and with so many who feed their birds sweet potatoes, I though I'd post it here.

I couldn't believe it when I saw it..seems like the ones labeled organic from the grocery store aren't much better than the non organic

Maybe it's best to buy LOCAL organic produce, rather than it being shipped from other places. The video was a real eye opener. The other scary thing too is if it killed mice when they were testing it, how can it be safe for human consumption. Isn't that like a no brainer? No wonder so many people have cancer or are ill from other diseases. I am going to do more research. BTW, Hawaii just banned GMO food from all of Hawaii... Kudos!

I can't remember ever seeing locally grown sweet potatoes here...I will have to look harder this year.

Wow.

That made my stomach turn- it really opens your eyes about how those chemicals really affect our foods....and they let us EAT THAT STUFF???!!!

Our town does a farmer's market every Tuesday in the summer months, but there is also a couple different locally-owned grocery stores in the PNW that carry ONLY organic products.
