sun conure weight?

Hi, I had to go to the vet today to get a health certificate for travel.
My two and a half year old weighs 32oz he said he was a little under weight
is this correct. I feed him this: Paradise Small Bird Ultimate Blend (Benji Blend) - BIRD PARADISE BLENDS by Bird Paradise

32 oz for a conure does not sound correct, unless you mean .32 of a lb? Which equates out to 145 grams, which is actually on the heavier side of what sun conures weigh, from my readings. From what I'm reading, the average sun conure weighs between 100-130 grams.

My conure weighs over 200 grams (230, give or take). 200 grams is 7 oz or .44 of a lb.


You may want to get a double check on that weight... does your conure eat anything else?

Yes I feed him fresh fruit and cooked brown rice when I have it.
