I think you should wait until the babies are fully weaned before taking them away from their parents because that could negatively impact their health and development. Removing the babies too early from their parents can also be stressful for both the babies and the parents, as the babies may not be ready to be weaned and the parents may become distressed at the separation. And I think it's a great idea to hand-feed them if you're planning on taming and training them when they get older, as hand-fed birds tend to be more socialized with humans.

I find this post by Drunte confusing. It says don't separate chicks from parents then says to hand feed. Please explain. Thanks.
