I found out yesterday that a friend of mine DID have fraud on her acct because of this situation, which is what reminded me about this cookware set I bought at Target....
I thought I missed that window, so sometimes Im glad I post my useless stuff online, because checking this thread is what made me realize Im in that mess now...
Usually in these cases if the bank knows which card numbers are effected they will close them and send out new cards as a preemptive strike, but that's not always the case. I would call customer service and have them order a new card...if you do have fraudulent charges show up it's not that difficult to deal with (I worked in a bank for 10 years)...most banks give you temporary credit for the fraudulent charges until they get it resolved behind the scenes. It's just a matter of notifying them and filling out a piece of paper- even if you report it over the phone they'll send you the paperwork in the mail.
