Indeed,i bought a dozen of those rvs fruit holders since i figured that out,so i wanted to share.
Let's face it they want something to destroy each days in their cage ,why not be something that is almost free, the cardboard is from boxes i get my orders in.
The paper is a roll used for recipients that my mother got a hold of.
The blocks are from queens-day and costed like 5 euro's for a whole box.

Looks very well made!

So after seeing the cute video of Oliver.
I bought paper cups today and some boxes, muffin cups.
They where really cheap ,the boxes 0,59,the cups 0,38 and the muffin cups 0,55.
But how do i know if the cups are waxed?
For that price wouldn't it be to expensive to be waxed.

It's a large wooden bead.
I got a whole bag of them at a yard sale for 0,50.truly a lucky find.
My green cheek don't chew on them but it is great for filling the empty spaces and the do love to move it up and down once everything is shredded.

You could do this,i am going to try it too.

So i made another one just now with the boxes i bought.
I'm pretty sure they are not waxed, the don't shine, nothing came off when i scraped it with a knife and it tears just like paper.
If i'm not correct do please inform me.
I put some cardboard pieces in it together with some dried fruit and sunflower seeds.
By folding and piercing it it keeps in place.
I hope you now know just like me how awesome those fruit-holders are.
