hahahaha that happened when my boyfriend- now hubby met my very jealous bird, Elvis. lol Except Elvis wasnt as friendly at all and constantly tried to take chunks out of him.

Oh man. That is totally my life when it comes to introducing anybody to my guys. I tell them all the great things that they do and then they finally meet them and the bird is either deathly quiet, totally rude, nippy, or downright vicious.

My favorite was introducing Carlisle to my best friend for the first time. Carlisle acted so sweet, said hello, went to climb up his arm, scurried up his arm, screamed in his ear, bit him, flew away, flew back, landed on his head and bit the same ear he screamed in. Needless to say Carlisle and my friend are not friends. I just love when Kayak decides to scream curses as loudly as she can while elderly relatives are over. She hates everybody except for me and my step-grandfather. She'll hang out with him for hours if I let her. She hates my grandmom(she's not alone in this ) my grandmother gets very upset Kayak likes her husband and not her. I can't MAKE the bird like you. Sometimes I wish I was Kayak and could get away with being rude to her.

Now that I'm single I'm going to have to go through the hell of introducing my lovely little birds to a new boyfriend all over again. I should just hand out disclaimers to possible suitors explaining the birds, lol.
