So, some of you may remember that when we saw mango on craigslist we were debating getting her or a pair of Linnie's..

We've been informed we're getting a pair of Linnie's, lol.

So, the person who sells them is a friend. And she had a gazillion babies, and no ones buying. So she has informed us we're getting some, haha.

We of course still have a choice, but I guess they usually sell better or something, cause she's got an overload at the moment and thinks we really, really need a pair.

at first she thought they were all cobalt, but now she's seeing some mauve grey (I think that's what she called it)

Some of her sent pictures.... They're weaned now, ill get those photos in a sec.

They are adorable! Lucky you:)

little bundles of love!....
your mauve/grey is double factor.

Linnies are amazing little birds, they are smart, can hang upside down without a second thought, cuddle, and funny.
one word of caution though....and please remember this.....they LOVE to hide underneath things....blankets, pillows, clothing on the floor etc....

so before you sit, walk or pick up, just make sure you know where the birds are...
your going to LOVE your linnies!!!

I know. They were our first birds ): for some reason they died 2 days after getting them. Then we got Kiwi and he thrived (well, after many vet visits but that was more Petco's fault), and Mango is doing great. Still don't know why!

I remember the girl landed on top of our hanging, rectangle light, and I looked EVERYWHERE for her, freaking out, and then I saw her just sitting up there, looking at me innocently.

And when she decided to perch BENEATH the couch, but far enough away I couldn't get her, so I had to carefully get to her without dropping the couch on her.

Yeah maybe Linnie's Are too much of a pain.. Lol

they were freaking adorable though

Could you explain what you mean by mauve / grey being a double factor? :)

But yes, the Linnie's were lovely, and while I'm a bit hesitant after the last time, we've had 2 birds thrive perfectly fine. What's the worse that could happen?

Congrats! We got 2 linnies for my kids. Blueberry whistles so beautifully! You are going to love them!
