So I bought the right size socks for Nips. I got both her feet and 1 wing in the sock buddy, and she walks away I turn around to get the towel and she has escaped the sock buddy! I don't know how, but I wish this bird would stop. Lol

When I put it on my Grey I started with the head. Then the 2 wings, and as she walks away, I keep a hold of the back which stretches and automatically gets her to put her feet through the holes! HA!! :)

I have to say putting on socks that are mean from 0-8 month olds on a love bird that is the same size. Is a challenge I thought I would have won if she kept attacking my phone charger cord, but she walked away and walked out of it.
UGH I'll try again tomorrow

Mhm. I hope the socks I have for her are fine. Baby socks all have that grip on the bottom, but Nips is way more interested in chewing on the lose strings.

As long as she's plucking at the sock and not at her feathers it's the idea. However, make sure there aren't too many elastics in the sock. You don't want the bird to pull a thread and it tightens around her. I used to pay close attention to that and shorten the frays regularly.

Today I tried. I clipped her wings, which is a first for her. But I got it on... she escaped it. I think I need to find smaller socks ._.
