My Derbyan parakeet has sneezing fits sometimes and often scratches near his nose/beak area. I thought it was normal but now I think he does it too often, especially after I found him with drool on his beak (a lot, I think, to the point it was kinda hanging off). Is this very concerning? I'm already looking for a vet (I'm in a pretty small town and I'm scared that the vet won't be able to accommodate parrots). From what I read it might be an infection and it would prove good for his health to put something in his water that will help with the infection, but I'm not sure what and how to measure the stuff
(Also the swing was just put in his cage and was made by my dad, can it be the cause of drooling? The metal toxic etc? And is it safe?)
Sorry for so many questions, but whoever answers will be my favourite person for my whole life
