sleepy budgie

Hello!
I have a male budgie around 4 months and he is very sleepy compared to an 1 year femel budgie. Is it normal? (He does not look like having an ilness)

Could be because he's young, or is he a newer bird? New additions can seem more quiet and still since they're getting used to their new home. Would be a good idea to get him an exam by an Avian certified vet just to be sure. Also, make sure you're not cooking with teflon, using sprays like lysol or plugins, and not using chemical cleaners because that can cause respiratory issues which could make him appear sleepy (birds are good at hiding illnesses and don't necessarily look sick even if they are).

Also, budgies have all different kinds of personalities and it might be totally normal that yours is less active. I have many budgies and some of them are so energetic and some prefer to just hang out
