Sir John/Julio the Noble macaw

I was surprised to find her, because I seriously didn't think I would... but.... HOLY COW!!!! WTH? And she's only two years old? I kind of wonder where she came from!



It is a good thing she is so far away, otherwise, I'd love to meet her, just to see what a Noble is like! (personality wise) And well, one thing could lead to another... and.... she's a long distance away!

For me it is a good thing she is far away. Noble macaws have a soft spot in my heart and I cannot resist them. I admit she has been on my mind since I saw your post. I do want her but Sir John needs me more.

Monica, if you ever have the opportunity to meet a Noble macaw you will not forget it. They are one of the best parrots out there. I love everything about them. Once you meet one you will love them.

Congradulations, on Sir John. I live in Kansas and right now it is cold and rainy but it is suppose to be in the 60s next week. It should be warmer in May.

Good thing I live far away or I would be tempted to see her too since noblemacaw has talked about how sweet Mihijo was and has praised the sweet personality of noble macaws. She is pretty but I would want her to be with someone like noblemacaw that would have experience with birds that may pluck. I bet noblemacaw could help Sir John with his plucking and see him grow beautiful feathers.

Thank you Abigal. We are going to give it our best try to help Sir John who will be known as Julio to be as healthy and happy as we can get him. We have a awesome support system and experience we had with our Noble macaw will come in play with decision with how to treat Julio's plucking.

First up total testing from blood draws of disease and CBC and all along that goes with that. Yes it is expensive but will be worth it to be able to see where we can start. I have started a tumblr account for Julio and will be blogging all about his journey with us. Of course I will be updating the form as well.
