hahah yea they are loveable little fur-covered cuddle balls lol
they have such a short lifespan it is depressing thats why all my guys were rescues. oreo and melvin came from a hoarding situation (over 100 rats total after the females all had their babies were (they had their babies at therescue) removed) jon bon and jovi were from an accidental litter when someone forgot to close cage doors at my cousins friends place.
i would totally own them again but i always put a few years between owning rats so i can go to myself: am i really willing to face their loss again in a few years? i alwyas ssay yes because they are so loveable it really is worth it.
My original rats were reject feeders from a friend of mine his ball python decided to go through anorexia so he bought a bunch to coax him to eat after he starting eting normally again i got the "leftovers" they were my first rats. before that my mom owned some
