My baby galah cockatoo will eat almost anything I give her and is great with vegetables , she will eat pellets but sees them almost as a treat rather than a main food I keep them in her food bowl in her cage and she does nibble at them occasionally but is always ravenous for seeds should i keep her seeds in cage bowl instead? She still eats loads of other things too and loves all beans and pulses too , loves kale spinach and always nibbled her greens so she's very healthy in regards to eating she just loves seeds! I researched and Galah do eat alot of seed in the wild so think its hard for her as a instinct to see other foods as a main food rather than treat food . Any advice welcome.

Cannot argue with that, great nutrition and easily digestible. RB2's love seed, so if you can manage without them then please do. (Sprouted is totally different kettle of fish!) These birds are prone to health problems so if you can get her on and keep her on a diet that is minus seed then so much the better. I so, so, wish I was more savvy when Plum came to me because if I knew then what I know now there is no way he would have been eating seed!*

*The odd treat or enticement is considered OK
