Senegal parrot behavior

My Senegal parrot has been acting odd lately. She recently laid three broken unfertilized eggs. Now it’s been a week later and she keeps sitting on her food dish draping one wing over it. Not something she normally does. She seemed fine when I took her out to play with her. But when I put her back in she tends to get back in that position. I recently lost my Eclectus parrot who she didn’t actually like very much. Could this have affected her any? Is it Post egg behavior? Hoping her wing isn’t injured but it doesn’t seem to be.

This sounds like nesting/hormonal behavior to me.
I would take her in for an avian vet visit. Get blood work done to make sure everything is normal.
Did she show interest in the eggs at all? Like wanting to sit on them?

As far as minimizing goes, what’s her diet like?
Avoid allowed her to play or go into any dark areas that could feel like a nest.
Don’t pet her anywhere but her head and neck.

I wouldn’t think the loss of your Eclectus would be affected her if she didn’t like that bird.
Sorry for your loss as well, losing a bird is never easy.
