Savannah Takes Her First Shower!

I had Savannah take her first shower yesterday! She stayed out of the shower stream so then I put her on my arm and she got nice and wet. She did very well for her first time, but was nervouse. That was to be expected! Because I was helping her in the shower, I only got pics of her after. I hope to add actual shower shots once I try again!

Wendy - Actually, I used a shower curtain rod. I saw someone else do this. It's a single stall shower so it worked very well! But thanks for the offer!

Kendra - She was nervous in the shower but I can tell she was happy afterwards. With the heat, it had to be refreshing, too!

Congratulations Blanca!! I know how happy I was when Coqui took her first shower!! And how happy she was too!!

Savannah looks like she is beginning to realize how good that falling water stuff really is.

Does Quincy shower? Has savannah ever seen Quincy in the shower?

Thanks Linda! I think she liked the water falling on her and getting out of the shower. LOL! I had to hold her under the water with my arm. Otherwise she perched away from the water stream. But I think she did well considering she has never showered before ever!

Quincy is my nervous nelly and I've tried the shower thing years ago with him and he didn't like it. I am hoping once Savannah likes it enough I will have Quincy watch and see if I can get him to try again with baby steps!

Linda - I was thinking about that after my last post. Coqui will be a great role model on how to have fun in the shower!
