Wow! Sugar loves raw broccoli! Watermelon is her favorite though.

I wish. Audrey's favs are fettuccine Alfredo & caramel macchiato latte.

Yes, I know; nothing the least bit healthy & plenty that's unhealthy. Thus she very seldom gets a taste & then only a tiny bit. It's just so hard to deny her when she spots either of these treats & turns on a combination of sweetness & desperation as she tries to persuade & maneuver her way from me or the play gym to the true objects of her affection knowing the comical sounds of ecstasy & satisfaction she'll make upon tasting the Alfredo sauce...a high pitched barely audible sound somewhere between a whistle, a sigh & a scream.

LOL, that sounds like Loki and beer :11: For whatever reason, that bird has a fetish for beer in glass bottles!! He's actually tried to reach in our mouths to get it. So now we have a rule; Loki must be confined in order for us to have beer.

Ironically, he leaves wine alone :20:

Loki also loves apples and green grapes. Aside from watermelon and raw broccoli though, I can't get Sugar to eat anything. Loki used to eat dinner with us (and I may start doing it with both of them) and now we know he likes chicken, rice (cooked and warm, won't eat it cold), asparagus (again, cooked), french fries, cheese, yogurt and milk. Yes I know they aren't supposed to have dairy, so he only gets it once in a while. This boy goes nuts over dairy products!

I just got back from a trip south, to see my dad. His throat cancer treatment is finally over, thank God, what a brutal treatment it has been. He is on the mend.

My husband has been holding down the fort here, with the birds, Sassy and he have totally bonded! When I left, just three days ago, Tim was not too sure about Sassy, she was real nippy with him. They now have sooo much fun together! He travels around the house with her on his shoulder, they sit on the couch together, playing 'tug o war' with a shoe string and preen each other lovingly, he even allows her to shred his newspaper, while reading it! Am I jealous? No way!

Tim has never been able to be close with Amigo so I'm happy to see him being able to enjoy a messy, bossy, happy, fun bird!

Amigo's favorite food is watermelon, too! I think he would eat just that all day long!

Oh my gosh Mare!! That is absolutely WONDERFUL to hear!! All of it!! I'm so glad to hear your dad is on the mend and Tim and Sassy? That's amazing!

lol, yeah Sugar probably would eat it exclusively over pellets, the stinker.
