Salty a star??

If you have ever seen these videos on Youtube, where the poster has put together assorted clips of other peoples parrots, you know they grab from lots of sources. We've all seen them, I know they are a big hit in our house. Some clips are so funny they make it into a lot of these type montages. Imagine our surprise when some of Salty's training sessions started to show up in a few! I expect he will start demanding the premioum parrot food now. And funniest is, he recognizes himself and will get exceptionally loud.

If you tbi k your parrot knows more tricks then Samtu then share them with us? A looser as lo g as my parrots know how to give me a dry kiss, I'm a happy underachiever.

Heres a list of all Salys tricks. I joined IAATF, which is a bird training organization, geared mostly to raptor birds and shows, but they all gave me some great ideas on furthering Saltys education and advanced training methods. Things like combining some tricks, making an obstacle course sort of.

The bowling is a new trick. I showed him how to do it and on the second session he picked the metal bowling ball up in his beak, walked down the little alley and started knocking down pins with the ball in his beak ! So he understands quite a bit and is prepared to cheat!

Geeeeez, Salty does more tricks than *I* do! I could PROBABLY fetch a ball and... play dead DEFINITELY, but that might be about it.
