My dad loves birds and has always wanted one, my cousin gave him her quaker just after a month of owning it ( not much of a shocker, she thinks animals are supposed to be easy and cute). They smoke like a chimney and her kids used to beat on the cage. And his first home he was neglected in the corner and they chained smoked too. His cage was caged in I don't even know what and the same with the toys and his food container.
He is 1 or 2 years old, we renamed him Luigi, we have had him about 2 weeks. He is finally starting to enjoy being here. He is starting to talk more, he says "whats a matter" "hey baby" and the new ones are " pretty bird" "step up" and kissey sounds. I've been making him many new toys, and he is getting outside cage time now which he loves. He just let me hold him for the first time the other day. He just went to the vet and got a full bill of health!!!
