Regurgitation

I wonder, how can one tell regurgitation from vomiting.
Today my AG ate a pomegranate and some half hour later was playing while sitting on my lap. Suddenly she came closer to me and just vomited fluids on my shirt. I now have a very beautiful pomegranate colored t-shirt and a question, was it vomit or regurgitation?

Sounds like vomit. Regurgitation is more controlled and either ends up being re-ingested or they may try to place some in your mouth.
