Rearranged his cage. So much fun!

Buddy has horrible stranger skills. He greets everyone that comes in with the sweetest "Hello" and keeps saying Hello sucking them in and when they get close to the cage he starts lunging and biting. All visitors are warned about his "sweetness". The only stranger related injury was me having Buddy on my hand, my sister standing close but not too close, Buddy kept laughing and I reached up to give him a scratch and he bit down on my finger hard but no skin breakage. Yes he's sweet but only with me, everyone else is off limits.

My Senegal is like that.....draws people in, then attacks when they are in range. Funniest thing happened, My wife had one of these facial cucumber masks that are all green and you peel off....well the birds seen here as she came around the corner and ohhhhh myyyy God....the screaming of the Parrots and flying around.....It was a bit funny really.

Kiwi's stranger skills improved a lot when I started taking him out in public last summer in his bird backpack. He still won't go to a stranger (except my husbands brothers, who look a lot like my hubby) but he also reacts less aggressively and is a whole lot more confident/excited to be in public situations and thoroughly enjoys himself. I can't wait for it to be warm enough for him to come out with me again. He just LOVES it.

Your wife and the cucumber mask reminds me of Kiwis reaction to me without my glasses. He flips out when I don't have my glasses on and gets quite aggressive with me (I don't think he recognizes it's me since I have my glasses on 99.9% of the time). Second I put them back on he immediately calms down and wants kisses and praise for chasing off the 'offending intruder'. "Mommy, there was some strange woman here just a minute ago, but never fear! Kiwi chased her off!".

He's So CUTE! Looks very happy in there. And his feathers are so bright and beautiful!!

I can't wait till Kiki starts molting soon this summer and replaces her current baby feathers. :D :D :D
