We have a Mama French Angora and her 6 babies in our living room, 1 of which is a regular little escape artist. As you can see it's pretty hard to stay angry at this little guy (or girl) Started calling him (or her) Scamp! Look at that face!

Also because I didn't want to "overpost" the forum I decided to attach a pic of one of my african violets that I started last year. I LOVE flowers (especially pink ones:54:) and it's so cute in it's little pot!

Sweet photos! Thanks for sharing! Scamp looks so sweet, and soft. Nice to see a blooming flower today too. :)

(S)he looks kind of evil! Like (s)he's plotting against you, cute nonetheless.

Are those plants late bloomers or have you just managed to keep it like that for a while now?
Love the furry leaves. Or they look furry at least, are they?

How can you look at that face and think evil lurks beneath the surface?:09:

Scamp is just so darn cute, I think I've got their crate stinker proof now. How he/she got out before is beyond me:20:

I've got a whole bay window full of african violets on glass shelves, they will bloom any time of year. They do have soft fuzzy leaves. I've got a bunch of other plants too, orchids, Christmas cactus geraniums etc. I like my flowers!:D

Those are gorgeous little cuddle bunnies!! I had 2 Lops years ago.1 black, 1 white named Flip and Flop. Seeing yours makes me miss them.

African Violets are such cheery flowers....blooming even during winter.
I kill cactuses ....no green thumb here!

What breed of lop did you have?

I had French Lops. We loved watching them hop around and do those skippity hops kicking their back legs out. We had a greyhound and they'd hop right over him some times kicking him. Rusty would just take it in stride.
Both were mini's.

Sorry for the late reply Melissa, just saw this ;). I don't keep violets but my mom does. Nowdays she just has the basic purple type I think. One year for Christmas I got her about 5 plants with the most unusual colors I'd ever seen. I don't remember them all now (they eventually all died :(). The store had such variety at the time.

I don't know, looks like he's giving you the stink-eye haha
If you haven't named him/her, how about Houdini? ;)

I had 4 orchids last year, my cockatiel ate them all ... I had planted ginger as well, Baby snipped it off, it was about a foot tall!

I know Julie, I always have to browse through the flowers at the stores, I have so many at home though so rarely get the urge to buy any more African violets, one store as them listed as blooming plants and charge $20 for a small pot!

We named him Scamp and he STILL can escape, even after I made that wire crate "escape proof"! Lol now we're just waiting until he gets too fat to fit through the wires. He's potty trained anyway!

Aww...your bunnies are soooo adorable!!! Thanks for sharing! I also love your violets! I really love houseplants/flowers. I had about 32 houseplants that I had for a few years. I had them in my dining room because I have alot of windows there. Long story short, I moved them out on my deck for the summer and they really were doing great...son had a medical emergency and ended up in the hospital...I stayed at the hospital with him...early frost killed my plants. Bummer!

Scamp is a girl, we sexed the entire litter this morning and we have 3 girls and 3 boys. I should take a pic of all of them......

Those bunnies are so darn cute! You definitely should post a pic of all of them. I used to really want an English angora.

We have English Angoras too, they seem to be ok if they are only indoors for a short period of time (not years) recently got a EA that was housed indoors for a few years and the poor thing has 5 hotspots. Getting her treated and they are starting to clear up, they don't appear to bother her any. Did you know that Angora fiber is 7 times warmer than sheeps wool?

That's really interesting! I would think they'd die of heat stroke here in Texas if they were kept outside in that case. I jUst love the way they look.
