question!!

hi i have a pair of green ringnecks (i think). They are about 2 years old and my male one has not full ring on his neck yet! 15 days ago i saw in their nest 3 eggs. The strange thing is that the male is in the nest with the eggs during the day and the female during the night. Sometimes they are both during the night is that normal for a male to be in the nest during the day? or they are both females??? I looked yesterday again (after 14 days) and i saw only 2 eggs.but they looked fine. i wait for your opinion...thanks

Although hens lay the eggs, in some species of parrots both parronts share hatching duties, while with others, the hen incubates the eggs & the male feeds her in the nest box.....
