Hi, I have a budgie pair and their chicks are recently hatched 5 days ago, everything was going great until male decided to feed the chicks, I observed the male is feeding the chicks whole millets(without chewing/breaking the seeds)and the chicks are spitting them out, chicks then get tired of asking for food and their crops stay empty, while female is feeding properly when male is busy out of the nest box, he doesn't let female feed as well, I've separated the male, but he's sticking to the cage all day trying to get in and it's uncomfortable to see, hes eating ok though, I need to ask you guys what should I do, is that the normal behavior and let the male inside the cage or should I just wait few days, and how long? Thank you
