Hello :)
I hope Im writing in the correct place. I wanted to reach out and ask if anyone knew of any reputable breeders for the “Queen of Bavaria (Golden Conure)… my 15 year old daughter has been saving every penny. I know a few people have been lucky to adopt one, but it’s rare… it’s been a tough few years for us a family, so I’m reaching out to the best community of parrot families out there (this forum) for some guidance!
Thank you so much.

I forgot to mention.. we live in Florida :)

She has been very kind.
I have left YT messages for her and she nearly always responds.
She raves about how great Golden Conures are.
love her videos.

Thank you! Yes, I have seen her videos and they are awesome!

Be aware that they are *several* thousand usually! It’s nowhere near the price of a green cheek.

Hi! Yes, I’m aware… sigh… :/ hoping by some great miracle, we can find one to adopt.
My daughter has taught our Quaker parrot over 100 words and every trick in the book… it’s amazing :) He recently just passed away, and stating that she has been devastated doesn’t seem to describe it… He was the love of our lives for our entire family.

Hi there! Not sure if you found one yet, Fortunately for you there are so many breeders in Florida. I adopted all three of mine. One was near West Palm Beach. As soon as they lifted restrictions on crossing state lines in 2020, I was looking at other states. Florida has the most. I kept a close eye on CL and Hoobly.com
If you get the opportunity, don’t hesitate adopting one. They adjust very well. I would only be leery of feather plucking. And also be careful of scams. there are so many scams out there.
I’m excited for your daughter, I can confirm she has great taste in her choice and I’m here to help with any questions you may have. 💛
