Purring like noise

On occasion, esp if I am sitting and talking quietly with Louise, she makes an almost purring type noise. Low,quiet, "heeee" noise. Not a growl. She also flushes around the eyes and tries to put her beak in my mouth- not aggressive. Is this the sign of a content bird?
This is my first bird, she is CAG, 6mos old.

Is it an indication she is hungry/should be put back for food? She always has at least 2 fresh food choices...

My 26 year old TAG also does this same noise. Sounds almost like a sucking noise. Haha
