So, what do you guys get your fids for Christmas? Do you do stockings and presents? Does your bird actually tear the paper? :blue1: Maybe you have some cute story's about birdys firs Christmas? I would love to hear what you guys do and for some ideas on a fun Christmas for the fids! :p
:blue2: :orange: :red:Happy holidays all! :) :green2: :white1: :blue: :rainbow1:

I daren't admit that (if) I get Percy Christmas presents because Strudel will rag me again about 'dancing attendance" to him! :18:

My guy has his own stocking that I put his gifts in. We help him get them out :)

Porter opens his 'treats' little balls of newspaper with seed sunflower seeds and other stuff in them.

Wonderful foraging technique and he's gotten used to digging through his stocking for them... so on Christmas porter will open his own 'presents'.

Mine just get the left over boxes and wrapping paper as shredder toys. We just pile it up in the middle of the bird room floor, then step back, and watch the fun... (And then Sweep - a lot - again!)

Jenga has a stocking, I'll probably have to help her get them out of it.

She also has a few presents wrapped around the tree

I love getting the pets Christmas presents and stoking presents! The best part is going to the pet stores and finding the perfect toy, collar, or treat! :D If only they would get the concept of opening them or maybe that's to much to ask! :)

Blue wouldn't waste any time unwrapping a present. In fact, she'd probably start before I put it down in her cage.

Quinn would probably drop all her feathers in fear that she's been invaded. It takes her a minute to warm up to new stuff.

Amzilla here would spend most of his time trying to remove the tendons in my arm for even thinking about opening his cage door.

I think my zons enjoy the packages and boxes more so than the gifts,LOL. To a hen zon there's nothing finer than a good cardboard box. the 'boys' love the packing paper to shred, they'll all about the wrapper/filling destruction thing . You could put a red bow on a paper grocery sack and be a hero. I wish the rest of my "flock" was so easy/cheap to buy for.

LOL, does that mean your getting toys for yourself? I know the birds enjoy "stupid human tricks".
