Just wanted to leave you a snippit of a video. Pixie really had us potty trained on the first day we had her which was a huge surprise. One of the reasons I resisted getting a parrot was the poop factor. I had envisioned poop everywhere with my dogs getting into it etc. Well I have to say this was not at all what happened! Pixie began pooping on the paper towel we put under her while feeding so I figured I would use that to our advantage and it has worked wonderfully! She now goes pretty much on command and yet still goes on her own while not with us and thats exactly what we wanted. We recently added the command to have her empty her pooper before she steps up and she is so good at it that she will poop as soon as we approach the cage, in hopes we will be taking her out! Love this experience so much I just had to share!
