As I don't want to poison any future parrot, I have to ask this question. I love KBBQ and eat it...a lot. It just doesn't feel the same when you cook it on the stove and eat it at the table like a steak with family. So I bring out the portable gas stove with my (aluminum coated, I think it's safe) pan and cook it ont he table while eating. I know normal gas stoves are fine but what about portable? Is there a certain gas brand I should use to not suffocate one of my birds? I really don't want to bring home a bird and have it die. 
What have your experiences been? And what about the barbecue stands at the park? Are those okay too?
