Tonight is the third time this week I've come down violently nauseated. Overall, not fun. Up all night with the puke pail and wanting to sleep but being unable to. As a result, the birds have been getting the bare basics this week - seed and pellets. When I feel better, they do get their veggies, but it's not often. I feel guilty because I KNOW they need better, but I've been sooooo sick.

I have no idea what's triggering me. Might be my Ozempic, but I rarely get this way, if ever!

I also hope you feel better soon. I'm sure that your flock knows you're doing your best right now, they know you aren't feeling well. Please remember that you need to take care of yourself, too.
Sending healing wishes your way!

Hope you feel better soon. The problem with medication is that you can take it for years without problems. Then one day 🧨🧨🧨. You can have severe side effects or allergy problems. On some occasions an OTC med can precipitate a problem. There's no way to predict. Talk to your health care provider AND keep a journal of medicine, including OTC times and symptoms times. Keeping the journal helps you and provider evaluate and notice any trends. If your feathered friends are like my feathered owner, you'll get ❤️, 💋 and little mischief. That is until you are feeling well, then the gloves are removed!

Good news! After being sick three times since Christmas, I am finally feeling better! **Does a happy happy Conure Dance** The birds are happy their routine is... normal... ish... I actually cleaned litter boxes today. I just have a month's worth of garbage to bring out because of 1) COVID-19 and 2) Being nauseated for a week. IEEEEEEEEE!
