My conure's poop is kinda thick since he has changed into a fruit mix pellet diet. So when my conure poops so part of the poop sticks to d bottom of d cage , which later on makes my conure's back wings dirty a bit. What can I do ?
I clean my cage every week.

My conure's actions seems to be active n healthy too...
In d pic there r some dried poop too... usually d poop is kinda yellowish n brown mixed...mostly brownish ..

I'm concerned, tge staining around the poop kinda looks like he has blood on his stool. This can come from metal poisoning....

I'm sorry I can't give a longer reply I'm dealing with my own sick baby.

I agree that color is worrisome and can be the result of metal poisoning..Is that the typical color?

It looks like a much larger cage would help some with cleanliness because he seems to have a very small space and very few places to go to get away from him poop, even if he wants to. Your cage may be larger than it looks, but I got this impression based on what I can see in the image. It also seems like it has no pull out tray at the bottom. Most cages put more space between the wire and the bottom of the tray (where the poop falls), allowing poop to fall lower below the grate.

If you are able, look up flight cages. A cage with a deeper tray (that pulls out) would make cleaning easier.

In the meantime, you will just have to clean more..But do look into upgrading that cage (unless it is large and I am seeing the image wrong) and getting an avian vet to check that poop.

Has your bird had any contact with metal objects....or does he play with toy bells a lot? The cage looks coated, but I can't tell in what- metal poisoning can come from cages, water dishes, jewelry, money...lots pf things. The only really safe metals are stainless steel and powder coated iron **if the coating is bird-safe and remains intact**. Aluminum is okay(ish) but not something you should probably have them playing with.

One of the biggest offenders of issues with metal poisoning is zinc (which is often in toy bells, and cheap toy parts, as well as most metal objects around your house). Lead is also hidden in a lot of things-- even some plastics, paints, old childrens' toys etc.

This poop with poops thsts look like coffee grounds, and the poop with blood rings around. Is usually metal poisoning.

Now you are posting about fluffed and head bob, which now seeing your older post can weakness or neurological , also signs of metal poisoning or disease.

Please yiu need to see the avain veterinarian

By stating fruit pellets does that also mean that the pellets are provided with different colors? Colored pellets can change the color of the poop.

I fully agree with my friends above, you need to have your Parrot seen by an Avian Medical Professional sooner rather than later.
