RIP Constantine: Jenday Conure
I just sat Con down on his playstand to do a little training with him when he let out an pretty large poop. It's runny and splattered all over the bottom of the stand. He's been getting one to two grapes every morning so I'm wondering if that's what's making his poop not so firm. Thanks!

All poop has some urine in it as well (for birds). So yes, it could be due to the grapes providing extra water. Sometimes birds just let out more urine with some poops than others. Unless it's diarrhea I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, fruits with lots of liquid can do that. Tootsie will become a "projectile pooper" if she eats a few grapes. I have to make sure that when I give her some that she is in her cage. If on the play stand she misses the catch tray completely and hits the floor. *splat*

Have you discovered the HUGE morning poops? Puck's morning poop seems to be bigger than his head. LOL.

My Nanday successfully projectile poops from within her cage as well, lol! It has flown 2 feet and hit the couch.

Morning poops... how did they fit in those tiny little bodies, seriously?!

Grapes with make the poops more 'runny' but as long as Con's poops aren't like that all of that time and seem to follow the time line of 'watery' foods/lots of water intake, then I wouldn't worry. :)
