Plum heads
Here's an update on my new plum head. He/she is a real feisty one for sure. It isn't afraid of my hand being near but physical contact is not possible yet just some nibbles. But is she/he a devil. Always getting in trouble getting head stuck in the feeder when it shouldn't be possible. Using the time I am trying to tame him/her with the cage open with my hand in it, to escape and hide from me in the room. He got under the couch got all dusty. Honestly he/she got me sweating. Its such an active get in trouble bird. I am taking all the advice I get. Thanks!!

Also these photos were seconds apart it shows you how lively it is hahaha.

And for some reason it likes to eat upside down?

I would do some trick training, something to do other than be a bad boy/girl. Give your plum head plenty of toys, inside and outside of the cage, to keep him/her occupied. And get the bird on your hand, arm, or shoulder. Take it slow, use plenty of treats, and do everything at the bird's pace, not yours. The eating upside down is most likely a funny little thing about him/her, makes this bird stand out.
