Unfortunately they abandoned the last egg cause they were too busy feeding the babies....they would of have the time if I had pull the older ones out to handfeed, but im working a 10-12 days of 12hr shift lately....so I don't have the time.... :(

So sorry, I guess that is why they don't usually have large clutches. They are doing a great job w/the 4, everybody looks healthy.

I'm starting to worry about Baby#3, his left eye isn't open yet and the last baby have both eyes open. I'm giving him til Sunday, IF it's still not opened I'm taking him to the vet when I bring JoJo in to have his beak trimmed.

My thoughts and prayers are with baby #3 that he/she is ok

Thanks for the prayers!!!!

You know at first I was a bit out of it when I found out babies was coming, but now I'm falling in love with him. I just don't want nothing happen to them.... :(

awwwwwwwwwwww......... how adorable and sweet. is he a baby of a parakeet??????

Very sweet, hope #3 is ok. Are you afraid to name them? Usually anything w/a name stays here forever. Whats 4 more birds? lol

3 of them have homes ready for them as soon as they're weaned. We might keep baby number 3 if his eye don't open and if we're needing to take him to the vet. I was told to go in next Friday since the avian vet lady is gone until then..

Good news tonight. I give the eye a gentle tug and it opened. Eye lid was dried together. :)
