You can tell from the picture how much bigger he is now compared to the new baby. I should of taken a picture of them side by side but they kept moving around, not easy to handle two wiggling babies at once and take pictures....lol...
The parents DON'T like it when I'm handling the eggs nor the baby. The father doesn't bite, but the momma will!!!! The father is a mean one so it surprised me that he doesn't attack, IF momma is out of nest, I can handle her just fine, she's very tame!
By the way, baby #1 decided to poop in my hand as I was holding him, you can see that in the pic...lol
1 nanday conure Black Jack, 1 Brotogeris parakeet Whiff, 1 ring neck dove Eliza, and 6 society finches (3 are tame). RIP my parent pairs of societies and my little gouldian finches
Yes it is Sue! At first I was oh no, now im going I miss the cute little babies like I used to...I really didn't want them to have babies. This pair used to hate each other but everything changed when I moved them into the glass cage.....The other pair wont have babies I don't think cause the male is very self-absorbed....lol
