Pearly conure?

My conure Link is over 2 years old now but it looks like his chest feathers are now turning red. Is that normal for a pearly conure?

What a cutey you have! I do not know the feathering staging for Conurs. But this will get you bumped back on to the Board for others to see!

I Googled around a bit and it seems to me that some do have a red band...
I just searched for "pearly conure red chest feathers". You might try that. I am far from learned about pearlies. SO CUUUTE!

Ive seen at least 15 colour variations now on conures i think anything is possible. Lots have red bellies x

If you do an internet search on "pearly conure" images, you will find a few pics of red-chested pearly conures.
