Kakariki? I thought they are weak in it but it sound more likely than other New Zealand parrots

Actually their cheeks are featherless, so "red feathers" also would be wrong. But it's fine, thanks for the point

Correct! It’s the Kea parrot! A point for you!

“[The *******] is an extremely fat bird. A good-sized adult will weigh about six or seven pounds, and its wings are just about good for waggling a bit if it thinks it's about to trip over something — but flying is out of the question. Sadly, however, it seems that not only has the ******** forgotten how to fly, but it has forgotten that it has forgotten how to fly. Apparently a seriously worried ***** will sometimes run up a tree and jump out of it, whereupon it flies like a brick and lands in a graceless heap on the ground.”

What bird? Quote from Douglas Adams.....The Hitchikers Guide to the Universe Author.

The kakapo.
only flightless parrot

What parrot that is now extinct was toxic to eat (by other animals not people).

That’s right you get a point.
their toxicity was due to their diet . I think It was some kind of cocklebur

Bird feet come in all sorts of evolutionary examples. Webbed, feathered, scaley, etc.
What technical term are parrot feet called?
