Parrot Aggression

Nicoā€™s vet did get back to us. She did recommend a zoologist who trains the animals at a zoo, and appears to be very educated on Ekkie behavior. Iā€™m going to try to get ahold of her, or at least try to join a seminar. Maybe it can help? Maybe I missed something?
I brought my Goffin Cockatoo to a bird psychologist behavior specialist in LA many years ago because Casper was extremely needy and wanted to be cuddled constantly (believe me it can get old) and would bite me if I stopped. Casper was also afraid of all men except my husband. He didn't attack men, he was just afraid of them. The specialist was a very nice man but Casper wanted no part of his attempts to handle him. He just clung to me the entire time. I hope you have better luck with training for gender issues training than I did.

I hope someone can help with Nicoā€™s trying to mate with me all of the time too. Iā€™m not sure if the zoologist has came across this, or if others have as well. From what Iā€™ve read this isnā€™t healthy for parrots? I believe this is mating behavior. If someone else thinks it could be something else do let me know.
