Yea, it is super cool to have the opportunity to be part of the bird's growth. We'll probably go to see Marley every 3rd or 4th week.

We are in the far Western suburbs of Chicago, and it's like investing half a day to drive into the city. See Marley and spend a few hours talking with the Brian the breeder and then deal with the brutal Chicago traffic getting back home - it makes for quite an day.

For ANYONE that is interested in a great Breeder with awesome birds, I would HIGHLY suggest contacting Brian Douglas @ Micro-Brood Aviary https://www.birdbreeders.com/breeder/8364/micro-brood-aviary-oak-park-IL/reviews. Brian is a breeder and an avian locator. Fantastic guy, hugely knowledgeable. He has been into birds his entire life.

Brian also works with Dr. Scott McDonald, one of the leading Avian Vets in the country. Scott E. McDonald

Oh I love that you get to watch Marley grow like this! :D

How super cool! Love that you got to hold the baby already! So fun and exciting! Congrats! :D

So life has been pretty busy, so I've been SLOW on updates.

Marley is now 80 days old and we went to visit him again on Saturday.

Our big boy (or girl) is now perching on my arm or in a tree, eating solid food (fruits like orange, grapes, prickly pear and apple) and close to being fully feathered!!

My wife and I are so crazy about Marley it is not even funny, we can't wait till August to get him home!!
