So, I was making my GCC's a toy with the shell of a coconut, and I was taking out the white insides with this HUGE knife. I was cutting it rather forcefully, and it went in my hand. Not deep deep, but deep enough that I might need stitches. If it doesn't close up by itself, then stitches for me. I'm so scared!!:eek::eek::( I don't want stitches!!! Well, anyways, now I can't make the toy and ... Ya...
I'm scared!!...:11::eek::(

Update: Even with my bad hand, I finished scooping the white coconut stuff! But it hurt like never before...

i hope you recovery soon! my birds can be really annoying if i have a band aid on. they always want to rip it off lol!

I place the coconut shell on top of an ant bed, usually within 24-48 hours all the white is gone, and the ants get a free meal. I hope you dont need the stitches

Thank you everybody. I'm not in need for the stitches, I'm fine now.
Boysmom, that's a cool idea, I might try it. Thanks. =)

Glad you never needed stitches
A bird notices anything different on our persons.
I recall dying my hair, Mishka was so scared to come near me, for a few hours.

Owwww ! Sorry honey , that must have really hurt :(
It's amazing what we will do for our babies , isn't it ?
That was a pretty dangerous situation . Get your self a small blunt carving knife or use a spoon , lolol. There are a few people here we need to ban from using sharp instruments
:) :) :) Glad your OK !

And , you finished the job just for your babies !!!
Pure dedication there ConureCrazy :)
