28x36x50 (50,000 cu in)
see pic
it is used. how does one make sure it is disease free?
That cage looks great!
Cage size is just for sleep.
Please explain the bar spacing issue. If its too close, what happens? their toes get caught?I don't look at bar spacing to much. It's the weld that crap.
And if he plans keeping him in there 80% of the time. That cage is a lil small. It's all on if there's alot of playtime to offer. I usally let Sam choose where he wants to go. He's always out.
Thank you for clarifying the guage thing.Acually there not complicated at all. This thread made it complicated. Yes there risk of the toes gettin caught. But iv never heard a case. But read the precaution. For macaws yes. There climbers and iv heard toes being broken from getting caught in 1/4 spacing.
But zons don't have those big big thick feet. Well all parrots do. Lol
But macaws have huge feet compared to any zon iv worked with. Amazons tend to break welds and often. As Merlin said it gauge that's a huge deal. And your cage is FINE.
Not to small. I was saying that it's a small cage still but vs what he was in it's a mansion.
Also a nice a large door.
But 10,000 cubic inchs. That's huge. I think lol. My cage is 4 feet long and 4 1/2 tall
And 3 feet wide. I don't think my cage is even 10,000 cubic in. Maybe 1000.
But I'm horriable at numbers. I could be so off. It's not even funny lol.
That new cage is just fine.
