OK, What the heck is this?

The GCCs are cheaper there than here now. Black 'Toos are extremely rare here and I have never seen one in person, although I would dearly love to.

I would imagine some of the 'Toos here might fetch about the same price as a Hyacinth like the black 'Toos and maybe the Major Mitchells.

I know Greys are pretty high there. We had a member here who wanted to buy one very badly but it was $5000. Here it would be more like $900-1200 for a Congo.

Definitely a CBC and I just brought home a baby one 5 days ago :D This little boy is sooo mellow and sweet, the vet and asst kept saying what a doll he was. He said he'd never handled such a easy conure.

So, what do you think it is, Luna? A Painted?

Hi, Roxy-------- now that you've called me I have to show. I think I've posted a photo before this post (keep in mind I'm illeterate on these sites) and I could not seem to get them open to gather. Yes I think a red bellied could photograph in the manner of the photo we are discussing. I put the photos on adjoining monitors and note the following:- The known bird has white on beak next to nares. A patch with lutinin on cheek. Grey neck feathers that with slightly less melinin or a very oblique angle would repodues very little grey or be white. red that is visible behind the thumb area of the wing. And a some similar blue pattern. Also the lutinin in the wing might vary also changing the blue green appearence. D.D.

Hi, WHOPEEEEE! The coppy and drop worked next time I would change the direction of and put both on the same page for direct compairison. D.D.

Your welcome. I would love the Painted Conure but they are still very expensive over here.

I'm not sure what they cost here, but they aren't common. I know they are much more common than the Queen of Bavaria, but I've never seen one in person.
