does anyone feed their birds nutri berries as the main base diet? everyone i know feeds them as treats now and then, just wondered cos it says's they're a complete diet.

They're made from pretty good ingredients, but I'm not sure if they'd be a good base for a diet. I wouldn't be all to surprised - but I just don't really know.

I do know that Auggie's never really liked them.

He usually just uses them for some of his physics experiments.

lol nut loves them :) but not the veggie or the el ole paso ones lol

i keep them as treats an foraging food every now an again, i won'r feed these as a main food as it will work out uber expensive!

oh an northern parrot have some reduced near dated the macaw sized ones that nut loves :)

Read the ingredients, the type I bought has corn syrup, lots of preservatives. I'm desperate for something to break Merlins seed habit, but he just eats the fruit & seed off of the nutraberries & throws the rest down. He's such a twerp.

Myself, I just give nutriberries as a treat. A coworker of mine, however, has a budgie that she has tried unsuccessfully to convert to pellets. She's currently feeding nutriberries as a main diet with the idea being that at least "Tweetie" is eating some pellets.

Oscar really just eats the safflower seeds out of them and tosses the rest. He likes the spicy ones the most.
