I suppose this kinda fits...memories in the making at least...Tori’s first Christmas (this year, LOL)!

Marketing poster of me and Sasquatch for my first college alma mater. I attended Palomar College for two years while learning how to fly as they had an excellent aviation degree program. Roughly 15 years later they approached various graduates in search of material for propaganda posters. A campus photographer came to my home and I carefully held Sasquatch outside for imaging. I wrote the captions including "...birds are born..." but they changed to "were."
Sasquatch was a large and beautiful Vosmaeri Eclectus, lived for just 22 years. He developed a chest tumor that should have been readily removed. The avian vet used a laser scalpel and inadvertently burned his crop. Sasquatch endured a pitiful recovery effort and I'll never forgive the vet's blunder.

We need some more entries of birds and the good memories shared with them. I posted a lot of sad stuff he here's a cute one JFF.

This is a funny one. So we've had this picture of baby Jacob on the wall for many years and only noticed the toy in the background around like 10 years later... No wonder he's such a T-Rex sometimes. :p

Hahahahaha! Oh, that is hilarious! Talk about subliminal messages! Insidious! Lol! But otherwise, what a sweet baby pic! Love it!

Scott, what a heartbreaking story of Sasquatch. But I know he lived the best and happiest possible life while he was with you, my friend. And what an awesome picture! For the record, brother, I prefer your version of the caption. Just sayin'!

Awww, this is a perfect entry! Tori looks gorgeous against that backdrop, and this totally looks like a great choice for a Christmas card!

Scott, I could not possibly love this picture any more. It breaks my heart at what happened to Sasquatch due to that vet's negligence, I am so sorry.
This photo of you two is spectacular and I bet you inspired many people who saw this poster to take up aviation...who could resist the handsome pilot and gorgeous bird on his hand?

Baxter's first long, snuggly nap, when I knew for sure that she felt safe and secure with me. Lasted over an hour. :-D She had only been with me for about three weeks. Love my little girl!

Just for fun.

My boy Patches LOVED to eat! Definitely his favorite pastime. One of my favorite days with him was doing pictures for the July, '18 POTM theme of National Picnic Month. We had so much fun, and my granddaughter helped pick out the friends to join the "beach party picnic." I was so blessed to have him, even if only for a while. Miss you every day buddy.

I love this! Baxter looks so comfortable and content, and it is obvious how much she loves you too. You two were meant to find each other.

I am so glad to see Patches here this month, and that you shared this memory of that wonderful day.. You were blessed to have each other, and filled that short time together with a lifetime's worth of love. He will be forever missed.

Awesome entry, my friend! Yes, she was definitely feeling safe and secure in her bond with you. She is completely knocked out, there! That's love!

Love me some Patches! And this has always been one of my favorite pics of him! He was a special bird, and you were a blessing for him just as he was for you.

Sylvester was my budgie who I sadly lost in 2014.
I had her for 13 years. She moved with me from west London, into central London, then back to west London, then to North Wales for 6 years then back south to Buckinghamshire! She was well traveled!

My entry is this last one. Sylvester loved the Christmas tree in 2010 - it was really hard to keep her out of it!!! I think she liked the fact it was a real tree!
I still miss her :yellow1: fly high my sweet one xxx

I'm so sorry for your loss of Sylvester. I know a loss like that is always felt, though with the passage of time we draw comfort from all of the good memories. Considering the gift she was, it's only appropriate the setting for your entry is in a Christmas tree. She was beautiful!

I'm so sorry for your loss of beautiful Sylvester. Your pictures are wonderful and the ones in the tree are breathtaking. I agree completely with Stephen's sentiments, your entry is the perfect choice.

As I have heard from so many people about good old (well, not old) Scomo being the talk of the forum, so I dug around the forum and found a picture of him as a wee little fella, just after he got his feather implants put in
Thanks
