Not to brag, But we had

Temps in the lower to mid 80's for the past few days. With the humidity, it feels more like summer than winter.

I know you are ONLY saying this because you heard on the radio/TV what it's like in my neck of the woods. :09: :20: ;)

I don't want to brag either, but our windchill was only -32 this morning:)

I wish it were nice and warm like that here!! lol it's currently 27* with the highs being in the low 30's this week

Not to burst your bubble, but you also get hurricanes on a regular basis... :D

It's been up and down here. Like Saturday was perfect - about 78 degrees. Sunday? - down in the upper 30's/low 40's and raining... Monday cold. Tuesday morning cold. Tuesday afternoon tee shirt weather. This morning cold again.

We pay for it though, with our summer temps... even if you were accustomed to living in hell, you'd still say IT'S FREAKIN' HOT!

Nah, I'm from Idaho and the summers don't bother me here in Houston. If I had my choice temps would never go below 70. I love the warmer temps here. It's why I moved here.

I am from the SF east bay area & SoCal. I'm used to milder temps year round. Don't have to turn the heaters on much. Don't have to use the air conditioner much.

Moving here was a cost of living/employment decision...

I struggle going outside with our summer weather.

current temp. here in Ontario--6 degrees Celsius.....and we've had another 5 inches of snow......spring is just 6 weeks away....ahhhhhh., lol

You ain't bursting my bubble I have live in central Florida most all my life and have to deal with a little wind and rain from hurricanes. But the best part of living in central Florida is the most you get out of a hurricane is 5-6" of rain and winds mostly in the 40-50MPH range. It's the tornadoes that are the worst.

Well, in Southern CA is hasn't been winter AT ALL yet!! It was in the 70's and 80's until this week, and even now it's no cooler than mid 60's. Is that why it's several times more expensive to live out here compared to where the weather is crappy? It's hardly worth it...:53:

I know... but it's kind-a getting annoying. I'm missing the FL winter weather, cool and breezy, low humidity, sometimes even requiring long sleeves or, dare I say, a jacket.

I'm further south than you. I like the Mt Dora area so much. It's soooo not South Florida!

You people are so lucky that you don't have to dig through snow to find your vehicle...Then again, there are some benefits to colder winters.

It's pretty nice being able to have plants/trees and not having to worry about them freezing. Being able to keep the parrots outside is a plus too.

We are in summer here and our temps are currently upwards from 35 Celcius. I dread winter coming in June when our temps drop to below 15 celcius sometimes. I can't stand being cold.

Snow is something you visit a few times a year for skiing and snowboarding purposes... then you go home where it's warm.

I do miss having Tahoe three hours away... I don't miss paying more than twice what I currently pay for rent, for half the house I have here.

SoCal is expensive, NorCal is even worse...

We have a storm warning starting today- apparently we're going to get 4-8 inches of snow over the next 24 hours (which is a lot for us!) we only get snow once or twice in the winter, and it was really bad about 5 years ago- my car got buried!! Haha
