She was willing to stay still long enough today! Note the spinich splattage on the cage bars after a whole 2mins of receiving brekkie! Also, the little pins on her head...gah! I help her with these when she allows me. What a time of year to moult - it's so cold!

Just thought some of you might appreciate seeing her new yellow feathers and maybe notice how vivid her red is becoming. :)

Also a video of her laughing her little socks off at me lol.

Shhhhhh Ant! Telling everybody my secret that I colour her in with Crayola!!!!! ;) hehe!

Nomnom brekkie indeed! Mishka is most welcome to come over for breakfast. We can watch and see who manages to smear or throw things furthest :D:D:D

Von, how old is she now? I thought she was pushing 6 months but she has more green on her back than our new Sun. Cute as can be though- the mess just means she's enjoying her food lol. :p

Cal is indeed 6 months old. I don't know whether it is because of the climate or what, really!

If you watch Sun Conure Feather Transformation on youtube, the birdie on there the gorgeous Jupiter's gradual change is very similar in ages with Cal. She had no yellow on her back initially when we got her at 3 months. :)

:orange:
I just found out our new baby's birthday was July 9, which makes her almost exactly 4 months old. I need to get more pictures of her - she likes to hide behind her snuggle cottage (we put a lot of toys into her cage, I think this was the first cage she'd ever been in so is getting used to it) and is still a bit fearful but a nosy little thing!

And OOOOOOOOOHHH that video of your little baby chirping inside her snuggie hut!!! SO STINKING CUTE!!!!!

She's very endearing as I'm sure you'll find YOUR Calypso to be too hehe!

I guess they just mature at different rates like humans!

Hey Von! Just a couple quick pics of my own little Calypso, born July 9 this year (so approximately 4 months old):

She has a bit more yellow showing through than your little Cally-pants I think. :p Also, she stepped up this morning (to get a treat, but it was a step)! Woohoo!!
